Lime Basil Mandarin

An enticing, mouthwatering medley of Sicilian lime and zesty bergamot with a juicy heart busting with ripe mandarins, aquatic white florals, peppery basil and caraway seeds. Base notes include soft, velvety patchouli and sharp green vetivert.

Each Pick n Melt jar and tin candle arrive in it’s own orange striped gift box printed locally on sustainable card stock.

You can use the metal lids of the jar candles to snuff out the candle. Simply put the lid on top of the candle to restrict the flow of oxygen. Never blow out a candle!

Burntimes

Burn times depend on the scent.

Little Jar Candles (20g) – 6 – 10 hours
Big Jar Candles(90g) – 15 – 25 hours
Tin Candles (190g) – 30 – 50 hours

We ensure that all the oils we use to make our candles and wax melts are phthalate and paraben free. We do not test on animals.

Why use soy wax?

Soy wax is a common, sustainable vegetable wax made from the oil of soy beans. Soy has many uses in various industries but most commonly relating to vegetarian and vegan diets as an alternative source of dietary protein. To make soy wax the soy beans are harvested and then cleaned, cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. The oil is then extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated.

There are various reasons we use soy wax for our main candle wax. Some ethical and some practical.

1. Soy beans are a naturally renewable source and are Eco-friendly.

2. Soy wax burns for longer with a cooler burning temperature.

3. Soy wax is non-toxic due to the nature of it’s extraction and thus produces no toxins when it burns.
